Leanne Blake Pizio

Leanne started working in clay
as part of her Masters of Fine Arts
program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her work is primarily functional stoneware, with figures carved through black slip depicting whatever is going on in Leanne's life. Subject matter varies and may include sunflowers, insects, religious figures, and everyday activities such as dinnertime.
Leanne lives and works in Oak Ridge, NC with her husband and five furkids. You can see her work in person at Urban Artware in Winston Salem, NC, The Marshall Gallery in Greensboro, NC, and at LDDK Gallery in Seagrove, NC.
