Well, we've been on vacay this week in NYC. It was a rocky start - first, the Amtrak jerk at the Greensboro terminal refused to honor the AAA discount. 14 hrs later, when we finally got to the hotel, they had no room for us, even though we had a reservation. Here's where we WOULDA stayed....
This turned out to be a better deal, since that hotel was downtown, and they moved us to their sister hotel in Midtown. They paid for a car to take us back uptown, and a little cash on the side, so that worked out, except that by the time we got in the room, it was too late to get a meal anywhere but a pub - city that never sleeps, my behind!!! Thank goodness for the Irish - they fed us thrice this trip, LOL. So we had our first meal at O'Lunney's on 45th between 6th and 7th.
So, day 2 we had breakfast @ Cranberry Cafe on 45th St. Bacon n egg bagels! I do love the whole cafe/food bar/convenience store concept! Here's a couple pix:
